Safer Internet Day 2021

This year we had to celebrate Safer Internet Day in a different way, with the majority of our children at home.  This year we are more aware than ever of how important it is to stay safe online.  We use the internet every day and it is a useful tool for learning.  However, we need to ensure that everyone knows how to keep themselves safe.  

 

This year’s theme is ‘An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world’.

Children's work

This year's work was a little different as the children were working from home.  They had a selection of tasks to choose from including designing their own digital footprint or designing a leaflet or poster.  They also had the opportunity to take part in the BBC's live lesson on online safety.  If you are interested in watching the video of the lesson, you can do so here:
