Applying for a Primary School Place To start September 2024
Applications for applying for a primary school place open on Friday 3rd November 2023 and the closing date for applications is Tuesday 16th January 2024. You can apply for up to 3 schools and must put them in order of preference.
To apply for your child’s primary school place, apply online at www.kent.gov.uk/ola the closing date is mid-night on Tuesday 16th January 2024.

If you apply online your place offer will be sent by email. This will be after 4pm on Tuesday 16th April 2024. It is important that you check your ‘junk’ email inbox too! You will also receive an offer letter in the post. You can also log in to your online account from 5pm on the 16th April 2024 to view your offer.
After you get your school offer
Once you have your school offer, you must ensure you either accept or refuse your school place by date to be advised by Kent County Council. For further information please visit:
Admission Appeals 2023
If your child is due to start primary school in September 2023 you need to appeal by the dates advised by Kent County Council in order to ensure your appeal is heard in preparation for September 2023. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
In Year Admissions
If you wish to move your child to our school within the current school year, you are required to complete an In Year Common Application form and return it to us by email or by post. We will then write to you advising you of the outcome of your application.
