From September 2020, it is a legal requirement that all primary and secondary schools provide a Relationship and Sex education, which matches the requirements of the updated guidance from the Department for Education. Following sharing our RSHE policy during the month of April with parents we have taken account any feedback before finalising our policy and it is now published below for your future reference.
Our policy outlines how we, at The Gateway, intend to meet these new requirements through our Science, PSHE, PE, RE and online safety teaching. Our policy also sets out the year group specific content that your child will be taught.
