Sports Hall Athletics - Term 4

On Thursday 29th February, 18 children (from Swallows and Woodpeckers) took part in the sports hall athletics competition against seven other schools. They took part in track and field events which included: speed bounce, javelin, vertical jump, obstacle relay and lap relays. All 18 children did a great job representing The Gateway Primary Academy and successfully placed in the top 3, taking home the bronze medal. An excellent achievement for our Year 3 and 4 children who, for many, it was their first time competing in track and field events.
