As a part of our 'Relationships and Health' curriculum, we had a visit from Max the guide dog puppy. During his visit, he did two assemblies, one for Reception and KS1, and one for KS2.

 

During the assemblies, we learnt about how he is trained to support people with sight loss in their day to day lives and how he helps them to overcome challenges. We also had the opportunity to ask lots of questions to develop our understanding of the impact of the work he does and the work of the Guide Dogs Association. We also learnt about how we can support the Guide Dogs UK association.
