Developing responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society is at the heart of our enrichment offer. Through our weekly Learning Talk and Jigsaw sessions, children are encouraged to reflect on their learning, wellbeing, relationships and wider experiences, ensuring every child has a voice.

Through surveys, discussions with subject leaders and senior leaders they help shape future developments and initiatives. In addition, children contribute to online safety questionnaires and Year 6 pupils complete the Lancaster Model questionnaire, providing important information that supports a successful transition to secondary school.

Children develop an understanding of charitable giving through fundraising events, Harvest Festival donations to Stone Food Bank and community projects linked to a local secondary school.

Financial education is enhanced through partnerships such as CRIBS, helping Year 5 pupils understand money management and financial responsibility. These experiences help pupils develop confidence, empathy, leadership and decision-making skills that prepare them successfully for future learning and adult life.
