  • Outdoor Education & Residential Experiences

Outdoor learning provides invaluable opportunities for pupils to challenge themselves, develop independence and build lasting memories.

Our Year 5 residential visit to Grange Park and Year 6 residential experience at PGL enable children to participate in outdoor adventurous activities that encourage teamwork, resilience, problem solving and leadership.

Beyond residential visits, pupils engage in environmental projects through our walk-to-school initiatives, blue tit conservation, community litter-picking events and sustainability activities that encourage responsibility towards the local and global environment. These experiences enrich classroom learning by providing real-life contexts and opportunities for personal growth.

Pupils and families speak positively of these experiences about children's confidence, independence and willingness to face new challenges. We recognise that outdoor learning as a significant contributor to pupils' personal development and readiness for the next stage of education.
