Our enrichment programme is carefully planned to ensure every child benefits from a rich and varied journey throughout their time at The Gateway Primary Academy. Experiences are mapped across year groups to provide progressive opportunities that build knowledge, cultural understanding, confidence and personal responsibility.

Children encounter a broad range of activities including multicultural weeks, African drumming workshops, food experiences, visits from significant local figures, Christingle services led by our local vicar, environmental projects, music performances and community partnerships. We actively promote reading beyond the classroom through our links with Dartford Library and engage secondary-aged students in work experience placements, strengthening community connections and aspirations.

Pupil voice, parental feedback demonstrate that these opportunities contribute significantly to children's personal growth, sense of belonging and readiness for future success. By the time pupils leave The Gateway, they have accumulated a wealth of experiences that enrich their understanding of the world, strengthen their character and create lasting memories.
